I'm Smiling at you.......

That's what Abbey said to me tonight. Let me explain. We went with Brenda to a Harvest Party type thing at the Dayspring church. They had tons of kids games, blow up toys, face painting, food, and candy for the kids. They also had a HUGE bonfire. It was great fun. I carried the boys in from the van, they were out like lights, and went straight to bed.
Abbey wasn't asleep, and never is easy to get to sleep.
She called for me after she was in bed, like usual, and I went to tell her "You have GOT to go to sleep." then she said to me "mom, I was just sitting here smiling at you over the fun we had tonight."
WOW, what am I supposed to do with that. So, I said ok, good, I'm glad we all had fun. It was fun. But now you need to sleep, and hugged her. Then I hear "Mom, you're gonna break me." Guess I hugged a little too hard that time. :)

You're Fired!

Ok, I don't think that my sons have ever seen the Apprentice, so I'm not sure where this came from. But today, Trevor got mad at me for some reason, and told me "You're fired mom!"
Then Dave said both boys had told him that too! Hmmmm

A "false limp"

Today the kiddos went with me to a Dr's appt. Jill went with us, so she watched them for me while I saw the dr. Afterwards, we went and got "chicken-donalds" and then to the grocery store.
On our way out of the store, I was looking around to make sure all of my "ducklings" were with me, and saw that Dylan was limping!! I asked "Dylan, why are you limping honey? Why are you walking that way?"
He said "I not limping, I just farting."
ROFL (rolling on the floor laughing).

I Need A Cane!

LOL, Tonight, we had a play time with the GRAC4ME (grand rapids arts council 4 me - preschoolers) activity.
When we got home, everyone was so wound up. They all wanted a cookie though, and something to drink.
So they all had to sit and I gave them a snack.
Afterward, here comes Dylan, saying "I Need A Cane!!!"
And I said "what? you need a cane?" And he doubled over, and held his tummy, and said "yes, I need a cane, I don't feel good." As he walked all over looking for one.
LOL, SO, I figured it out. Sometimes, I have to walk with a cane around the house because my back and hips hurt so bad. My answer to them when they ask why, is that I just don't feel very good. SO, he thought, since he didn't feel very good (too full) that he needed to walk with a cane.

Spuuk-Key

It's been awhile since I've posted. There are several things I want to put in here, but can't remember them all right this moment. But one REALLY cute thing lately is with Dylan. Of course, we're seeing Halloween stuff everywhere, and we say it's Spookey.
Well, he says spookey, in such a CUTE and FUNNY way. It' more like Spuu-Key.
"mom! that's spuukey!"
Cracks me up every single time.
Oh, the other thing is Abbey. Everything is "last year" or "yesterday" and so on.
She'll say something to me about something we did maybe a week ago, and say "remember when we did that last this morning mom?"
Or "can we paint like Last year?" when we just painted two days ago.
We have to work on that. ha ha

May I Can??

Abbey is constantly asking for Gum. Sometimes, even demands it. So we've been working on that too.
So, the other day I told her to say "Mother, May I please have some gum?"
Just being kinda silly, but also tired of her demanding it.
So she says this;" Mother, May I can have some gum?"
LOL, how could I not after that?

Little Brains

The trio is very interested in their Brains lately. They've been asking alot of questions about them. Dylan says it's "sticky and yucky."
They've all asked me where their brains are, or if they have brains, etc.
Well, today Abbey and I went to a friends house, since her dance class was canceled. She played with my friends little girl, Michaela. After we left, she was talking about her "play date" and kept calling her friend Kayla. I corrected her, and she told me "I'll say it later, it's too big for my little brain." ROFL
